Day 4

Two things happened yesterday, one thing was the DVR filled up because I haven’t been watching my shows and I didn’t cancel them being recorded. So the DVR only recorded the first half of the Finale to So You Think You Can Dance (SYTYCD). The other is that I have been debating these last four days if I was going to just let my shows record and then binge on all of them at the end of the 30 days. I realized that would defeat the purpose of all of this if I just let TV consume me for days after the 30 days was up. So…I deleted all of my shows that had recorded and cancelled most of them from recording in the future. This was a fairly painful event.
Although I am not watching TV I am pleased to hear that Lauren won SYTYCD. She’ll make a great spokes person for Gatorade, who is finally recognizing dance as a sport. If you are reading this you know how avid a sports fan I am and I have thought for a long time that dance should be considered a sport. Most dancers are more athletic than many baseball players. Some of you may be thinking my man card should be getting docked right now but I’m sorry that’s what I think. (I will say this; Dancing with the stars is annoying) SYTYCD and Americas Best Dance Crew (ABDC) are awesome dance competitions.
