Day 3
Finished The Silver Chair with my son last night. It was a busy day but I did find myself wanting to turn on the TV so I could see what happened on Americas Got Talent, Top Gear and So You Think You Can Dance. You know how Paul says “I die daily?” Yeah thats what it looks like the next 26 days will be like. My hope is that I begin to desire TV less and less as I progress on this journey. However, right now I have to murder that desire to turn on the TV, daily. Now don’t get me wrong I don’t think that TV is inherently bad (some would disagree) I am just choosing to give up some good for something great. A better relationship with my God, Savior, Lord. I desire to stir up my passion for the one that pulled me from the miry pit. He is worthy of and deserves the attention that I have paid to my TV.
