I get impatience with things, but God is ultimately patient with us. I need to be reminded again and again, that it is not about me, but about God and what He is doing. If it was up to me the preachers would get cut off at 15 minutes and testimonies at 1 minute. Then we sould have more time for singing and more people sharing.
I must remember that worship is part of all we do, not just the singing on Sunday mornings. It's a good thing I am not in charge.

The encouraging thing about Sunday was that the Holy Spirit was flowing through room. God was present in a strong way, and after the fact it was exciting to hear how people were blessed by the testimonies. God is working in our body and was glorified though the testimonies and the different people who shared and their different experiences. One woman even brought some friends of mine to tears. They needed some encouragement, and God used her to bless them richly. Even if I am not blessed or encouraged by one particular experience, it doesn't mean people aren't touched or blessed. So as I sat there through the testimonies I prayed that God would use each one to bless someone. J has taught me that and I am growing in Christ because of his love and encouragement.
