Lincoln Brewster (Yes I got the Pic)

Just got back from the Lincoln Brewster concert.  And Yes I got a picture with him.  He was positively fantastic.

One of my favorite parts of the day was getting to go to his guitar clinic.  I was one of maybe 20 people so it was very intimate and just plain cool.  I learned a ton and so did my dad.  I was almost as excited for Brian as I was for myself.  He plays bass for the worship team at Faith and he got to go to a clinic taught by Norm Stockton, Lincoln’s bass player.  Brian was one of only two or three in the class so he got some real personal attention.  Brian left saying that he now knows what he needs to do and be learning to become a better bass player.

The concert was great too.  He is a phenomenal musician.  I can’t wait to sit down and watch his instructional DVD I got.  He signed both the CD and DVD SWEET!!!

    That smoke machine photo could be you from Freedom.

    And yes, Norm Stockton rocks. (Actually, he’s more groovy than anything else.)

    He definitely has a great philosophy of leading worship as the minister of groove.

    That is pretty rad! We need to get you a cool hair style. You know all the popular worship leaders have them! David Crowder, Lincoln Brewster, Jeremy Camp, Chris Tomlin’s hair is a little strange too… Come on Jeremy you wanna be famous, you need a memorable hair style!

    We need to get a real hazer for Freedom. There is no other option. If I have to pay for the rental myself, I will… no more crappy fog machines, I’ve been convinced hazers are the only way to go.

    Yes. Hazer. And we need those really cool screens in the background too, with uber presentations and wild animations of the words in the songs we’re playing. :P

    All this talk about hazers, a cool bassist, and hair and no mention of the cool picture of the hot girl with Lincoln and Jeremy. Geezzzz guys give me a break already.

    That’s cool, Rachel. I’m so glad you are rooting for Jeremy and his development as our worship leader. You know he couldn’t do what God had for him if you were not in his corner.

    Whoa, who’s the hot chick with Jeremy and the guy who my dad would look like if he had cooler hair?

    Maybe you should create a “Wife’s code of blog comment conduct” page for us Rachel, so we don’t break the rules again… =).
